Abu Hurayrah reported that the Prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Whoever observes fast during the month of Ramadan out of sincere faith, and hoping to attain Allah’s reward than all his/her past sins will be forgiven .”
Iftar – The prophet (Prayers and peace of Allah be upon him) used to break his fast by ripe dates or dates (in the absence of ripe dates) or sips some water in the absence of dates) Before praying. [Al-Albany]
